This past weekend, we teamed up with Explore-AI to host an exciting and educational bridge-building workshop at the Thomas House Family Shelter. The event kicked off with a hands-on introduction to the basics of bridge engineering, where participants learned about different types of bridges, the forces at play, and the importance of structural integrity.

Following the lesson, participants put their new knowledge into action by building their own popsicle stick bridges. The creativity and enthusiasm were amazing as everyone worked together to design and construct unique bridges. Each creation was tested to see how much weight it could support, sparking some friendly competition and a great sense of achievement.

It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce engineering concepts, teamwork, and problem-solving in a fun, engaging way. We’re incredibly thankful to Explore-AI for partnering with us to make this event a success, and we look forward to hosting more workshops that continue to inspire young minds.
